Greased Lightning® Multipurpose
Can I use Greased Lightning Multipurpose on laundry?
Greased Lightning is an effective laundry pre-treat. To use, apply Greased Lightning directly to
the stain and wash regularly. For an extra dirty load of laundry, you can add 1/2 cup of Greased
Lightning to your washing machine along with your laundry detergent.
Can I mix Greased Lightning Multipurpose with bleach or other cleaning products?
We do not recommend mixing any Greased Lightning products with bleach or other chemicals. We recommend
you try Bleach Powered Greased Lightning, our cleaner that combines the proven power of Greased Lightning

Can I clean my carpets with Greased Lightning Multipurpose?
Greased Lightning is an effective carpet stain remover. Greased Lightning should not be used on
Oriental Rugs or rugs made of fine materials. We always recommend testing carpets treated with
stain protectors in an inconspicuous area before using.

Can I use Greased Lightning Multipurpose on wood?
Greased Lightning products are not recommended for use on wood surfaces.

Greased Lightning products are recommended for use on most metals except aluminum or an aluminum alloy.
Greased Lightning will leave a cloudy appearance on aluminum. However, this does not apply to aluminum
siding with a factory baked-on finish.
Can I use Greased Lightning Multipurpose on painted surfaces?
Greased Lightning products are safe for most household surfaces. We recommend you test in an
inconspicuous area before using on painted surfaces.
Can I use Greased Lightning Multipurpose on glass?
Greased Lightning products are not recommended for use on glass because they will leave a cloudy residue.
Greased Lightning products will not damage glass.
Can I use Greased Lightning Multipurpose on my countertops?
Greased Lightning is safe for use on most countertop surfaces. If you're unsure about a particular surface,
we recommend you test in an inconspicuous area.
Can Greased Lightning Multipurpose be used on marble or granite?
Greased Lightning can be used on sealed marble and granite surfaces. We recommend you consult the manufacturer's
cleaning recommendations for other granite and marble surfaces.
